Its broad ceramic form rises and curls organically around the edges, finishing in a gently coiled tip that gives the piece its distinctive sculptural character. Layered green and ivory tones flow across the surface, while fused glass at the base creates a luminous pool of deeper colour and watery depth.
Designed primarily as a decorative piece, it makes a beautiful home for jewellery, crystals, keys, trinkets or other treasured objects. Its generous form also allows it to stand alone as a piece of botanical ceramic art.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
This piece has been individually hand-built from ceramic clay, with its sweeping leaf form, raised contours and gently curled tip carefully shaped by hand.
A layered botanical finish has been applied to enhance the movement and flowing profile of the piece. A fused-glass feature has been incorporated into the base before kiln firing, creating its distinctive pool of translucent colour, depth and light.
As the glaze and glass respond naturally to the heat of the kiln, the precise movement, markings and tonal variations cannot be controlled or exactly repeated.
Important handmade note and advisory
This piece has been shaped, decorated, glazed and fired entirely by hand. Variations in contour, curvature, colour, glaze movement and glass distribution are an intentional part of its character.
The fused glass may contain small bubbles, gentle ripples, areas of pooling or subtle variations in surface and colour. These are not faults, but natural qualities created during the firing process.
Due to its sculptural edges and curled tip, the piece should be handled carefully and should not be stacked beneath heavier objects. Keep away from extreme heat, freezing temperatures and sudden thermal changes. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and the screen on which they are viewed.

Care
Not food safe. Dry decorative use is recommended.
Clean gently using a soft, damp cloth. If required, wash briefly by hand in lukewarm water using a mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, dishwashers, direct heat and sudden changes in temperature. Do not use with candles, hot objects or an exposed flame.
Take particular care around the curled tip, raised edges and fused-glass surface. Avoid placing sharp or heavy objects inside the bowl that could scratch, chip or damage the finish.
