A small, one-of-a-kind ceramic bowl inspired by the shifting colours and organic patterns found along the coast.
Its deep, glossy teal exterior surrounds an expressive bubble-glazed interior, where inky blues and soft, unglazed-looking spaces create the impression of seafoam gathering across a tidal pool.
The naturally fluid markings make every angle slightly different and ensure that no two pieces created using this process could ever be exactly alike.

MATERIALS AND METHODS
Individually shaped from ceramic clay before being carefully refined and fired. The exterior has been finished with a rich, glossy teal glaze, while the interior has been decorated using a bubble-glazing technique that creates its distinctive, naturally irregular pattern.
The piece has then been glaze-fired at a high temperature to develop its depth of colour, glass-like surface and permanent finish. The placement of the bubbles and movement of the glaze cannot be fully controlled, making the markings entirely unique to this bowl.
Important handmade note
This piece has been made entirely by hand and carries the gentle irregularities that naturally occur during shaping, glazing and firing. Variations in contour, colour, glaze movement and surface are not faults, but part of the character and individuality of the work.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and the screen on which they are viewed.
