A one-of-a-kind miniature ceramic dish adorned with two individually formed seashells in soft turquoise tones.
The gently rounded ivory dish provides a simple, understated backdrop for the raised shell details, allowing their natural ridges and sea-washed colouring to take centre stage. Small but beautifully tactile, it brings a subtle touch of the coast into the home.

MATERIALS AND METHODS
This miniature dish has been individually formed from ceramic clay before two sculptural seashells were carefully shaped and attached by hand.
The shell details have been decorated in sea-inspired turquoise tones to accentuate their natural ridges and contours. The piece was then glazed and kiln-fired to develop its softly reflective surface and subtle variations in colour.
Because each element is formed and decorated individually, the positioning, markings and tones belong entirely to this piece and cannot be exactly repeated.
Important handmade note and advisory
This piece has been shaped, assembled, decorated and glazed entirely by hand. Gentle variations in form, surface, colour, glaze movement and shell detailing are a natural part of its character.
Small areas of speckling, glaze pooling or tonal variation are not faults, but evidence of the handmade process and the individual response of the materials during firing.
The raised shell details are sculptural and should be handled with care. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and the screen on which they are viewed.

Care
Food safe. Handwashing only is advised to preserve the glaze, raised shell details and handmade finish.
Wash gently using warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, direct heat and sudden changes in temperature.
Take particular care around the raised shells when washing, carrying or storing the piece. It should not be stacked beneath heavier tableware.
