Sculptural ceramic calla lilies, individually shaped by hand to capture the graceful curves and quiet beauty of the natural flower.
Each lily features a softly folded ivory-white bloom, a warm golden centre and a long, organically formed green stem. No moulds are used, allowing every flower to develop its own individual posture, contours and character - just as it would in nature.
Designed to be enjoyed forever, the lily may be arranged upright in a vase of water, incorporated into a floral display or laid flat as a decorative sculpture on a table, shelf or mantelpiece.
Each Everlasting Calla Lily is sold individually and each are entirely unique.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
Each calla lily has been individually hand-built from ceramic clay, with the bloom, stem and central stamen carefully shaped and assembled by hand.
The flower is decorated in warm ivory-white, botanical green and golden yellow before being glazed and kiln-fired to create its durable, gently reflective finish. The subtle movement within the stem, the folds of the bloom and the placement of the central stamen are formed individually, meaning that no two lilies will ever be identical.
The finished piece is glazed across its surface and may be displayed either in water or as a freestanding decorative sculpture.
Important handmade note
Every calla lily is individually made by hand and carries its own natural differences in shape, curvature, colour, surface and glaze. These are not faults, but part of the flower’s individual character and the handmade process.
During firing, each lily is supported on small ceramic stilts. This process leaves a few tiny raised points or nodules on the underside of the piece. They are generally hidden when the lily is displayed and do not affect its appearance, quality or ability to be placed in water.

Care
Handle carefully and avoid lifting the flower solely by its bloom or central stamen.
The lily is fully glazed and may be placed in or submerged in clean water. It can also be displayed flat without water. Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaning products.
As with all ceramic pieces, protect it from knocks, falls, sudden temperature changes and freezing conditions.
