One-of-a-Kind Pieces for the Home & Garden

Handmade, restored and carefully collected pieces, each with its own character, history and story.

Nature never hurries: atom by atom, little by little, she achieves her work.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Bringing the beauty of nature into the home

SUSTAINABLE AND PRACTICAL ART

BY STEPHANIE JOST

Naturally Rare is a collection of one-of-a-kind pottery, woodwork and handcrafted pieces inspired by the raw beauty of the natural world. â€‹From sea and shore to land and sky, Stephanie Jost draws inspiration from nature’s colours, textures, movement and imperfections. Her work celebrates everything from soft, weathered neutrals and tactile organic surfaces to vibrant glazes and unexpected details, creating pieces that invite you to look closer, reach out and touch them, and feel more connected to the world outside.

Working with clay, reclaimed wood, salvaged materials and carefully discovered objects, Stephanie creates slowly and intuitively by hand. Natural forms, flowing lines, rugged textures and the individual character of each material are allowed to guide the finished piece.

Every Naturally Rare creation is entirely unique. Stephanie may explore a particular form, glaze or idea as part of a wider series, but no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Each carries its own markings, movement and personality, shaped by hand, material, fire and nature’s own influence.

Her pieces are art, but many also have purpose. A vessel may become a vase, planter, bowl, candle holder or simply a sculptural object to admire. Their use is often left open to the imagination of the owner, allowing each piece to adapt naturally to the home and the life lived around it.

Whether your style is contemporary, rustic, coastal, eclectic or quietly minimal, Naturally Rare pieces are designed for those who want to bring something authentic, tactile and deeply individual into their surroundings.

These are pieces made to be lived with, touched, used, admired and treasured, each one bringing a little of nature’s raw and remarkable beauty into the home.
